CryptoHFTData Privacy Policy

This policy explains the personal information CryptoHFTData processes when you browse the website, create an account, use an API key, download market data, subscribe to updates, or contact support. It also explains the choices available to you. CryptoHFTData provides historical cryptocurrency market data and does not sell personal information.

Information we collect

Account records may include your email address, authentication provider identifier, password hash, email-verification state, API-key metadata, preferences, and acceptance of the current terms. We process support messages and newsletter choices that you submit. Service logs may contain request time, endpoint, response status, coarse network information such as an IP address, user agent, API-key identifier, download object path, and transferred byte count. We use aggregated website analytics to understand feature use and reliability. We do not ask for payment-card details for the current free service.

Why we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, issue and revoke credentials, deliver requested data, enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, measure capacity, answer support requests, send messages you requested, maintain legal records, and improve datasets and documentation. Processing is limited to operating the service, fulfilling your requests, protecting users and infrastructure, and complying with applicable obligations.

Service providers and disclosure

Infrastructure, object storage, authentication, email delivery, monitoring, and analytics providers may process limited information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell or rent account information and do not disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

We retain account data while an account is active and for a reasonable period needed for security, backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Operational logs and aggregated metrics are retained only as long as useful for reliability and abuse prevention. Passwords are hashed; API and transport access use security controls appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so revoke a credential and contact us promptly if you suspect misuse.

Your choices and requests

You can update available account preferences, unsubscribe from optional email, rotate an API key, or ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with your account. Some records may be retained when required for security or legal reasons. Browser settings can restrict cookies or local storage, although authentication features may then stop working. Privacy rights vary by location; we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

Contact and policy changes

Send privacy questions or requests to [email protected]. Include the account email and enough context to identify the request, but never send a password or private API key. We may update this policy as the service changes. Material revisions will receive a new updated date and, when appropriate, notice through the website or account email. See the Terms & Licensing for rules governing market-data use.
